Muskoka North Good Food Co-op (MNGFC to those in the know) is a very special not-for-profit, member-owned, co-operatively governed initiative undertaken by members of the Muskoka community. Their mission? To promote access to good food while connecting local producers and consumers.
As a result, this popular food co-op has built a superb specialty grocery market, café, and commercial kitchen that sells and serves locally grown produce and fresh local ingredients. The grocery market sells a wide range of organic and sustainably produced products, and also offers ready-to-heat meals and catering services, perfect for hosting a get-together at the cottage.
The café is one of the best in Huntsville and is a great place to stop for lunch or a coffee break. They have a great selection of sandwiches, wraps, soups, and salads, all made to order by the kitchen. House-made baked goods are also on offer with many delicious gluten-free options.
