The Farmer’s Daughter is an excellent gourmet grocery store and market located in Huntsville. Named after the fact the owner was born and raised on a produce farm and has a deep-rooted love for the land and organically grown fresh food, a large selection of vegetables grown by her family is sold in their beautifully curated shop.

In addition to the shop, the Farmer’s Daughter has earned a well-deserved reputation for its kitchen and café. The talented team here uses all fresh and local ingredients to cook all the dishes on offer, including a variety of gourmet sandwiches, salads, and soups. They have an in-house bakery and make delicious seasonal pies as well as their famous cinnamon buns.

Farmer’s Daughter also offers ready-to-heat meals and has seasonal options for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They also provide catering services. Both options are great if you want to entertain in the comfort of your own cottage while serving a fresh restaurant-quality meal.

Muskoka North Good Food Co-op (MNGFC to those in the know) is a very special not-for-profit, member-owned, co-operatively governed initiative undertaken by members of the Muskoka community. Their mission? To promote access to good food while connecting local producers and consumers.

As a result, this popular food co-op has built a superb specialty grocery market, café, and commercial kitchen that sells and serves locally grown produce and fresh local ingredients. The grocery market sells a wide range of organic and sustainably produced products, and also offers ready-to-heat meals and catering services, perfect for hosting a get-together at the cottage.
